Do I need Notion to use AI Chat Backup?

No. Export Chat creates Markdown locally. You only need to authorize Notion when you want workspace sync.

Which AI platforms are supported?

ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek, Kimi, Google AI Studio, Perplexity, Poe, Grok, and Venice are supported. Platform interface changes can temporarily affect extraction.

When does the extension read a conversation?

It extracts content from the active supported chat when you choose Export Chat, Sync to Notion, or start a ChatGPT batch sync.

Can I sync multiple ChatGPT conversations?

Yes. The Chrome side panel lets you select conversations from the ChatGPT sidebar and sync up to six per batch.

Can I save AI-generated images?

Yes. For ChatGPT and Gemini conversations, select Download generated images to save image files locally. ChatGPT and Gemini image sync to Notion is supported when the source image can be read and uploaded.
