Export DeepSeek to Notion or Markdown.

Keep useful DeepSeek answers outside the chat history. Download the current conversation as Markdown, write it to an Obsidian folder, or sync it to your connected Notion workspace.

Install AI Chat Backup

Export the current DeepSeek chat

  1. Open the DeepSeek conversation you want to keep.
  2. Wait until the response has finished generating and expand any content you need.
  3. Open AI Chat Backup from the Chrome toolbar.
  4. Select Export Chat for Markdown or Sync to Notion.
  5. Review the exported note before closing the original conversation.

Preserve answers, reasoning, and code

AI Chat Backup preserves the conversation structure exposed by DeepSeek, including text, headings, lists, links, tables, and code blocks. Reasoning sections or attachments that are collapsed, temporary, or protected by your session may require you to expand or save them separately.

Organize DeepSeek exports in Notion

The Notion record includes the conversation title, source URL, platform, and formatted content. Add project, topic, or status properties in Notion so research and coding sessions remain easy to find after the original chat is archived.

Troubleshoot missing content

Wait for generation to finish, expand collapsed sections, refresh the DeepSeek page, and retry. If an interface update affects extraction, update AI Chat Backup and check the public issue tracker.
