Kimi export guide
Export Kimi to Notion or Markdown.
Turn a finished Kimi conversation into a durable note. Download it as Markdown, write it to an Obsidian folder, or sync it to your connected Notion workspace.
Export the current Kimi chat
- Open the Kimi conversation you want to save.
- Wait until the response has finished and expand any sections you need.
- Open AI Chat Backup from the Chrome toolbar.
- Select Export Chat for Markdown or Sync to Notion.
- Check the exported note, especially links and content tied to uploaded files.
Keep long-context research usable
AI Chat Backup preserves the conversation structure exposed by Kimi, including text, headings, lists, links, tables, and code blocks. Uploaded source files, authenticated previews, and temporary media may not be embedded, so keep the original files with the exported note.
Organize Kimi exports in Notion
The Notion record includes the conversation title, source URL, platform, and formatted content. Use topic and source properties to connect long research threads with the documents, decisions, or projects they support.
Troubleshoot missing content
Expand collapsed content, wait for generation to complete, refresh the Kimi page, and retry. If Kimi changed its interface, update AI Chat Backup and check the public issue tracker.
