ChatGPT to Notion
Batch sync ChatGPT to Notion.
The Chrome side panel processes one selected conversation at a time and sends it to your connected Notion workspace. Free users can choose up to six chats per batch.
Open Batch Sync
- Authorize Notion in AI Chat Backup settings.
- Open ChatGPT in the active tab and make sure you are signed in.
- Open the extension and launch Batch Sync from the ChatGPT home page.
- Hover over conversations in the ChatGPT sidebar and select at least one chat.
- Select up to six conversations for the current batch.
Choose conversations in the sidebar
The side panel enables conversation selection inside the ChatGPT sidebar. Selected chats are prepared as batch jobs, and already-synced conversations are marked separately instead of being added to Notion again.
Run and monitor the sync
- Select Begin or Sync selected chats.
- Keep Chrome and the ChatGPT session open while the worker processes one chat at a time.
- Use Pause and Resume when you need to interrupt the run.
- Complete login or verification in ChatGPT if the side panel asks for it.
- Use Retry Failed after reviewing the results.
Understand the limits
Free batches support up to six conversations. ChatGPT may slow or stop automated requests, so the extension can pause for login, verification, or rate limits. Batch sync is still being tested and may not be stable on every account or ChatGPT interface version.
Batch Sync is for ChatGPT to Notion. Single-chat Markdown export and direct Obsidian-folder export use the regular Export Chat action.
